Calling all students and families of Cuyahoga Heights Schools! The Back to School Bash is almost here! Join us on Tuesday, August 18, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on the Cuyahoga Heights Schools campus for an evening of fun, school spirit, and community.
MS/HS Open House and Meet the Teachers will take place during the Bash, from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Elementary families, mark your calendars, too! Meet the Teachers will be held on Wednesday, August 19, from 1:30–5:30 p.m.
Reconnect with friends, meet new families, and help us kick off the 2026-2027 school year together. Whether you're a returning Red Wolf or joining us for the first time, we can't wait to see you!

Back-to-school shopping is almost here!
Ohio's Sales Tax Holiday will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, and conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 9.
During the tax holiday, shoppers are eligible for savings on the following items: clothing priced at $75 or less per item; school supplies priced at $20 or less per item; and school instructional materials priced at $20 or less per item.

Congratulations to Coach Jeffrey Armstrong, selected to coach Ohio’s Central Zone All-Star Team at the 2026 Zone Championship Meet in Evansville, IN (July 30–Aug 2), where Ohio’s top swimmers 14 & under face off against Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Kansas!
Coach Armstrong also sits on ASCA’s National Committee for Coaches Education and is helping run the Blue Wave Summer Swim League this summer.

The 2026 Joe LaBella 2-on-2 Basketball Challenge occurred last week, raising over $500 for the Joe LaBella Scholarship Fund benefiting Cuyahoga Heights and Independence seniors. Thanks to Mike Suhy, Hannah Wyman, and Chris Oryl for their support!

The feature film "OODA" will be filmed on our campus July 15 through 17.
Production vehicles, film crews, and staged emergency scenarios with actors, simulated weapons, and loud dialogue may be visible. These scenes are part of the production and are not real emergencies.
Cuyahoga Heights Schools, Cuyahoga Heights Police, and the Greater Cleveland Film Commission are working together to minimize disruption.

Thirty-eight students in grades 3 through 6 spent four days at The Flip during this year's Youth Basketball Camp, learning new skills, competing in fun challenges, and being coached by players and coaches from our middle school and high school basketball programs.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it a fun week of basketball, teamwork, and Red Wolves pride! 🏀

Cuyahoga Heights graduate and current member of the Atlanta Falcons, Dylan Drummond, hosted a free football camp today at Cuyahoga Heights HS. Campers were in grades 1 - 6. What a great day! Thanks, Dylan, for giving back to Heights!

Members of the Cuyahoga Heights girls and boys track teams competed in the Division 5 state track meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of The Ohio State University on 6/4 and 6/5. The boys finished 6th in the team competition! Go Heights!
