The Varsity Boys Basketball Team went 1-1 in the two day Joel LaBella Tournament this weekend defeating Wickliffe tonight. The JV Boys Team won the JV Championship going 2-0.

Sophomores explored all 28 career programs during their CVCC tour on Dec. 9! Students got a firsthand look at hands-on training opportunities that could shape their future pathways.

Student volunteers are needed to assist children on a field trip to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium on December 30. Deadline to volunteer is December 19. This is a way for students to earn community service hours.

The Scarlet Angels kicked off the holiday season in festive style as they performed at the Brooklyn Heights Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29. Their music added warmth and celebration to a wonderful community tradition.

Mr. Robinson's Environmental Science students created animal storybooks for Kindergarteners, teaching about food webs through creative tales! They highlighted misunderstood creatures like spiders & bats with coloring pages & videos. Thanks to Molly Clay for help!

3rd & 5th graders combined storytelling & STEM! After reading Our Table by Peter H. Reynolds, students built mini tables using dominoes & craft sticks, then calculated perimeter & area. A perfect blend of creativity, teamwork & gratitude!

Congrats to 7th grader Madison Hawthorne! Her marker artwork was selected as our district holiday card design. She earned a $100 Amazon gift card & was recognized at the Board meeting. Well done!

Mrs. Loncar & Mrs. Russell's 6th graders explored the rock cycle using candy! Students simulated sedimentary, metamorphic & igneous rock formation through pressure, heat & cooling. This hands-on lab made geological processes memorable & meaningful.

Students from First Ring Student Leadership Institute connected with peers across Columbus at the Convention Center. Keynote Erin Gruwell (Freedom Writers) inspired attendees with powerful stories. Our students engaged in discussions, identifying school issues & planning leadership projects.
