Cuyahoga Heights Schools honored local veterans and veteran family members for their commitment to our nation’s freedom on Veterans’ Day, November 11.
At Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School, students paid tribute to veterans in the community and among their families. Special thanks to the PTO for a lovely reception after the program. At the middle and high schools, the Class of 2029 assembled a program to recognize veterans and presented a history of Veterans Day . A video tribute was played during middle and high school morning convocations to recognize veterans with connections to Cuyahoga Heights Schools.

The Art 2 class explored University Circle, touring art studios at Case Western and the Cleveland Institute of Art for an inspiring look at Cleveland’s creative community.

Elementary students kicked off Halloween last week with pumpkin-shaped pretzels, filling the cafeteria with laughter and excitement for a week of spooky fun and school spirit.

A shout out to Cuyahoga Heights High School Junior Brenna Weichert. She has been represented in the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center's Student Connection for October. Brenna is enrolled inn the Electrical Systems Program at CVCC.
