Congratulations to Antonio McCladdie for being named to the Bay Village Holiday All-Tournament Team.

The Varsity Boys Basketball Team went 1-1 in the two day Joel LaBella Tournament this weekend defeating Wickliffe tonight. The JV Boys Team won the JV Championship going 2-0. Congratulations to Gus Tartara for being chosen to the Varsity All-Labella Tournament team.

Sophomores explored all 28 career programs during their CVCC tour on Dec. 9! Students got a firsthand look at hands-on training opportunities that could shape their future pathways.

The CHS Electric Strings and Jazz Band had a blast playing holiday charts at the tree lighting ceremony in Valley View on Dec. 7. We thank the community for the invite, the generous welcome, and the continued support for our musicians.

Student volunteers are needed to assist children on a field trip to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium on December 30. Deadline to volunteer is December 19. This is a way for students to earn community service hours.

Jim Jones is a national youth motivational speaker and children’s book author, and our students had a wonderful time listening to his inspiring story and watching his impressive basketball tricks.

The Scarlet Angels kicked off the holiday season in festive style as they performed at the Brooklyn Heights Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29. Their music added warmth and celebration to a wonderful community tradition.

Mr. Robinson's Environmental Science students created animal storybooks for Kindergarteners, teaching about food webs through creative tales! They highlighted misunderstood creatures like spiders & bats with coloring pages & videos. Thanks to Molly Clay for help!

Congrats to 7th grader Madison Hawthorne! Her marker artwork was selected as our district holiday card design. She earned a $100 Amazon gift card & was recognized at the Board meeting. Well done!
