Change is the Constant for February’s Spotlight Recipient

Lisa Osborne has a knack for being able to adapt to change. And when it does, she’s able to quickly adjust and follow through with little direction needed. In her role as an Student Attendant, she provides support to students with disabilities within the Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School classrooms.

“Her schedule is known to change rapidly, yet she remains both professional and attentive to whatever may be thrown her way,” noted colleague Jessica Dindia. It is one of the reasons why Dindia nominated Osborne as the Staff Spotlight recipient for February 2024.

Osborne has been with the district since August 2021 as a lunch monitor at CHES.  In 2022 she became a student attendant. She arrives at work every day ready to accept whatever “opportunities” may arise.  Her great relationships with both colleagues and coworkers means she can be entrusted with all students as well as any additional responsibilities that may arise within the classroom.

“Her caring nature allows her to build close relationships with her students, fostering trust to help get them ready for their day, even when they may not feel like it,” added Dindia. “Her knack for sprinkling laughter in with learning brings smiles to her students’ faces.”
