Welcome to Cuyahoga Heights Schools Treasurer's Office
The Treasurer is an employee of the Board of Education, employed in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and policies and procedures established by the Board. The Treasurer is the Board's Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the prudent accountability of all monies received and spent by the district. He or she maintains the Board's official records and is responsible for the duties required by law and the state auditor.

Auditor of State Award
At the January 5, 2022, Organizational Meeting, Northeast Liaison Jake Altman presented Cuyahoga Heights Schools with the Auditor of State Award for a clean audit. “I’m happy to present the Auditor of State Award to the Cuyahoga Heights Local School District,” said Altman in his remarks to the Board. “This speaks to everybody in the District pulling together and doing the right things financially. It goes from teachers, the board, the administration, parent volunteers, coaches -- everybody pulling together for this. It puts you in great company because about eight percent of all entities can receive this award. It speaks to the professionalism of Matthew Muccio (District Treasurer) and his staff (Yalixa Rodriguez and Kathy Martin) in their professionalism in the Treasurer’s Office so on behalf of his staff, congratulations!”
