Girls' Basketball Team Wins Metro Division

Cuyahoga Heights High Schools’ Girls’ Varsity Basketball team captured the Chagrin Valley Conference Metro Division Championship on Saturday, February 10, defeating Trinity High School with a score of 39-31. The girls finished conference play with a perfect 12-0 record (16-2 overall).  “Congratulations to our team and staff on an amazing season and best of luck in the upcoming playoffs,” said Ryan Kelber, Cuyahoga Heights Schools athletic director.

The Lady Red Wolves will face their first playoff game (competitor still to be determined) on Saturday, February 24 at 1 p.m. at Cuyahoga Heights. 

Members of the team include: Reece Frank, Ava Galek, Julia Jaenke, Marissa Ulery, Lauryn Wilson, Sophia Winslow, Addison Bohning, Mariama Hopkins, Amari Rodriguez, Arushi Shinde, Alex Williams, and Lorelei Winslow. 

Coaches: Al Martin (Head Coach), Steve Harris, and Tony Rinallo. Staff: Bob Mantel and Noelle Lipkowski.
