Two Cuyahoga Heights High School students have emerged from regional competition at the Educators Rising State Conference in Columbus to compete at the national conference that will take place this June in Portland, Oregon.
Both junior Madely Osborne and senior Keira Connell earned Top-10 placements qualifying them to compete. Madelyn’s placement was in the Exploring Education Administration Careers category and Keira’s was in Lesson Planning and Delivery in the Humanities Category. Both are enrolled in the Education Professions program at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC).
Formerly known as Future Educators of America, Educators Rising is a national organization cultivating high school students for teaching careers through curriculum, mentorship, and practical classroom experience.
