Cuyahoga Heights Schools is inviting parents, community members, staff and administrators to help shape the district’s future by joining the 2026-27 BEST Committee.

BEST, which stands for Building Excellence and Success Together, provides an opportunity for members of the school community to collaborate on topics and priorities that affect the district and the communities it serves.

For the 2026-27 school year, the committee will focus on Enrollment & District Growth, one of the pillars of the district’s BEST 2026-2030 strategic plan.

Committee members will explore ways to attract and welcome prospective students and families through targeted outreach and community engagement. The group also will examine enrollment and demographic trends and discuss opportunities to strengthen collaboration with village leaders, families and community stakeholders to support the district’s long-term growth.

The committee is scheduled to meet six times during the school year. All dates are tentative:

• Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, 6-8 p.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, 6-8 p.m.

• Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, 6-8 p.m.

• Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2026, 6-8 p.m.

• Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2027, 6-8 p.m.

• Tuesday, April 20, 2027, 6-8 p.m.

Meetings will be held in the Bahner Ray Media Center. Participants are welcome to attend as their schedules allow. A light dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m. before each meeting, and a sign-up form will be emailed in advance to confirm attendance.

Community members interested in participating should complete the BEST Committee Interest Form by Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Through the BEST Committee, Cuyahoga Heights Schools is bringing together voices from across the district and community to plan thoughtfully for the future and continue Building Excellence and Success Together.
