Cuyahoga Heights Schools welcomed students and families back to campus on the evening of Tuesday, August 18, for its annual Back-to-School Bash and Open House, bringing the school community together to celebrate the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The event ran from 4 to 7:30 p.m. and allowed students to reconnect with friends, meet new classmates, and get ready for the first day of school. Families enjoyed food trucks, games, Cuyahoga Heights spirit wear, a visit from the Cuyahoga Heights Fire Department Ladder Truck, and a showing of The Sandlot in the auditorium. Activity tables were also set up behind the building and in the cafeteria.
The evening continued in the stadium with the Parade of Athletes, where Cuyahoga Heights' fall sports teams were introduced, and senior student-athletes were recognized.
Following the parade, families headed inside for the Middle and High School Open Houses. Students picked up their schedules, visited classrooms, met their teachers, and organized their lockers in preparation for the new school year.
The Back-to-School Bash provided an opportunity for Red Wolves students, families, and staff to come together before the first day of classes and kick off another school year at Cuyahoga Heights Schools.
