The September 17 meeting set the stage for honoring Student of the Month in the Cuyahoga Heights Schools.  Recognized with a certificate were the following:

From Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School (CHES):

Talulah Brynak - Grade 5

Talulah is a wonderful student who brings a smile every day to class. She is a great example of what it means to be a student at CHES. Talulah is a great friend to her classmates and is fully engaged in each lesson. Her 5th-grade year will be a great one, and she will be a leader throughout the year.

Vincent Jackson – Grade 5

Vincent is a great role model, not only for his fellow fifth-grade students, but for all students at CHES. He is respectful and engaged during class (Mr. Husband’s class might be his favorite). His excitement for school is contagious. Vincent will have a great fifth grade year and continue to show what it means to be a student here at CHES.

From Cuyahoga Heights Middle School (CHMS):

Madison Behrens – Grade 6

Madison is off to a strong start in sixth grade at CHMS. She consistently exceeds expectations. She is caring, honest, motivated, and successful, while regularly showing accountability, humility, and respect. She is attentive in class and thoughtful in her work. She treats teachers and peers with kindness. Her teachers wish her continued success this school year.

Jordyn Lynch – Grade 7

She is always doing what she is supposed to be doing, making good choices, and starting the year off strong. In class, she is pleasant, respectful, and kind to others, setting a great example for her peers. Her teachers are excited to see all the wonderful things she will accomplish this year!

Alex Brown – Grade 8

willingness to give his best each day sets a great example for his classmates. His teachers are excited to see all the amazing things Alex will accomplish this year!

From Cuyahoga Heights High School:

Aleah is hardworking, dedicated, and unfailingly kind. She does a good job balancing activities with school work. In addition to balancing a demanding soccer schedule, she is involved with the Red Rubies Drill Team and Orchestra.

Giada Amato – Grade 10

Giada stands out among her peers as a student who is reliable, service-minded, and a relentless problem solver. She always volunteers to help teachers and coaches to make sure every activity runs without a hitch. She never complains about anything -- even if she has good reason to -- which says much about her beyond-her-years maturity and resiliency. On top of her talent in school, she shines as an exceptional role model for other students. It is clear that she will naturally dedicate much of her efforts beyond high school to improving the lives of others.

De’Twon Mitchell –  Grade 11

On top of his talent in school, De’Twon’s character shines. “I have seen SO MUCH growth in him from last year to this year and I am so proud of the things he is achieving,” noted one of his teachers. “He is embracing this school year and the challenges that come in a great way.”

Daniel Cichocki – Grade 12

Danny is bright, creative, personable, and a strong advocate for what is right. He is a fabulous student to work with because he values true learning as a lifelong process that involves expansive thinking, not just transactional work for points. CHES Students of the Month Vincent and Talulah
