Families, students, and staff came together on Tuesday, August 19, for the annual Cuyahoga Heights Schools Back to School Bash. The evening was filled with excitement, laughter, and school spirit celebrating the start of the 2025-26 school year.
Hundreds of attendees enjoyed delicious meals from local food-truck favorites including Brooks Homestyle BBQ, The Kilted Dog, and The Event novelty ice cream. Students played games, families reconnected with friends, and new families had a chance to meet teachers and fellow community members.
Middle- and high-school student athletes were introduced at a pep rally on the field and the Red Rubies drill team performed a drill. The event also included music, spirit wear giveaways, and opportunities for students to show their school pride.
“This event is a wonderful way to bring everyone together before the school year begins,” said Superintendent Matt Young. “We’re grateful for the incredible turnout and the enthusiastic support of our Cuyahoga Heights community who helped to make the evening a memorable success.”
