The end of the school year means a new beginning for Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School’s fifth graders who move up to the middle school as sixth graders in August.
The Class of 2032 was celebrated in a special ceremony that took place in the Paul L. Baumgardner Auditorium on June 3.
Student Council members presented certificates included the following: Anella Doan, Hayden Hooper-Green, Denise Morway, Oliver Skladany-Childers, Ava Sherman, Mateo Torres, Grayson Westfall, and Marshall Worley.
Recipients of the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence were: Gwendolyn Dillon, Anella Doan, Victoria Hardy, Elizabeth Heller, Emma Linares, Delilah Mathews, Maelee McManus, Denise Morway, Colette Petel, Oliver Skladany-Childers, and Marshall Worley.
Receiving the Presidential Award of Educational Achievement were: Skylar Apathy, Liam Battin, Brandon Blue, Lydia Candow, Henry Cann, Arlo Darling, Autumn Goldsworth, Natalie Heller, Evan Henry, Hayden Hooper-Green, Luke Kovitch, Skylar Lewandowski, Sophie Long, Owen Nichols, Isabella Rice, Ava Sherman, Jonah Shop, Daniel Styskel, Evangeline Tartara, Mateo Torres, and Evangeline West.
Recipients of the Cathy Ditzel Award were: Evan Henry, Ava Sherman, Jonah Shop, and Evangeline West.
