Nine Cuyahoga Heights High School juniors were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) in a March 20 ceremony at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC).
Induction into the NTHS is one of the highest academic honors that a student who participates in a career technology education program can receive and marks a significant milestone in their academic and technical education journey. Students must maintain a 3.75 GPA (grade point average) at the CVCC as well as achieve a 3.30 GPA in their home district.
Inducted were
Ava Brych - Sports Medicine Exercise Science
Reilly Conte - Cosmetology
Jade Henry - Dental Assisting
Jackson Justice - Fire & EMS Academy
Anthony Kondash - Heating & Air Conditioning
Nathan Mandich - Auto Service Technology
Ryleigh Ressler - Dental Assisting
Heidi Stiegelmeyer - Cosmetology
Samantha Vallee - Cosmetology
In addition to scholastic achievement, membership is determined by attendance, conduct, participation in career-technical student organizations, strong teacher recommendations, and the embodiment of the following attributes: skill, honesty, service, responsibility, citizenship, and leadership. These standards ensure that only the most dedicated and accomplished students receive the honor.
