Donny Raymond

Cuyahoga Heights High School (CHHS) senior Donny Raymond has set a new school record for bowling with a single-game score of 288 in match play.

Raymond bowled a total of 726 points in a three-game series (with individual game scores of 288, 245, and 193) during the Greater Cleveland Interscholastic Bowling League District Tournament on January 11 against St. Edward’s at Roll House in Parma, Ohio. The previous single-game score was 284 set by teammate Jaymes Kleinsmith.

"Donny is truly committed to the sport and helping his teammates to be successful. He is a tremendous asset to the team," said Assistant Coach Rich Taylor, who has coached both Raymond and Kleinsmith through their bowling careers at CHHS.

Raymond has bowled all four years on the Varsity team. He is left handed and bowls as a two-hander.
