The CHHS Music Department took a trip to Nashville, Tennessee on April 11-14, restarting the long-standing tradition of taking music department trips. The students got to experience a live broadcast of The Grand Ole Opry (including a live performance by Vince Gill), have a private tour of the Gibson (guitar) Garage, explore the Ryman Auditorium, tour and perform at RCA Studio B (where Elvis did most of his recording), go to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and explore the Opryland Hotel, to name a few of their many experiences. Not only was this trip educational and provided the students with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, but it allowed them to make priceless memories with their friends.
Mr. Hamrick wants to publicly thank our trip chaperones - Wendi Cichocki, Jennifer Deka, Chelsey Kovar, Kenneth Ratkosky, and Lisa Ross - for their invaluable help during the trip.
Looking forward to our next amazing music department trip!
