Robert Moore

As Director of Information Technology, Robert Moore is responsible for the overall management of the district’s technology network, including servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, and related equipment, ordering and maintaining computers, chromebooks, iPads, and related equipment for teachers and students, maintaining the district's technology inventory, and  supervising the technology department staff.

Moore joined the district in 2022 from the Lorain County Joint Vocational School (JVS) where he worked for 21 years. During that time, he managed the Distance Learning Program, coordinated audiovisual setups, completed documents and forms for the federal E-rate Program, and provided professional development. He also assisted in the installation of the district’s 1:1 program. Moore also worked as a Technology Manager for the Center of Leadership in Education from 1998-2001. He managed the organization’s servers and provided technology support, professional development, and multimedia coordination, as well as managed distance learning programs.  

Moore has an Associate’s Degree in Network Communications Technology from Lorain County Community College. He is currently enrolled at the University of Toledo where he is working on his degree while also pursuing CISCO (CCNA) certification, which is an industry standard.
