Matthew (Matt) Muccio

Matt Mucio has been Treasurer of the Cuyahoga Heights Schools since May 2018 and serves as the Cuyahoga Heights Board of Education’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for accounting for all of the funds received and spent by the school district. He also maintains the Board’s official records and, in this capacity, is responsible for duties required by law and the state auditor. 

Muccio joined the district from Coventry Local Schools where he was treasurer for almost three years. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Treasurer for Maple Heights Schools for about two and a half years.  And prior to that he was an auditor with Skoda Minotta and Zupka and Associates for about five years and served as an accounts receivable specialist and finance intern at OhioGuidestone for about two years. 

Muccio holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashland University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Cleveland State University.  

An Eagle Scout, the highest rank achievable in the Boy Scouts of America, Muccio’s interests also include traveling, music concerts, camping, and visiting art museums.
