Cuyahoga Heights Schools Receive Back-to-Back Clean Audits

Cuyahoga Heights Treasurer Matt Muccio is pleased to announce that Cuyahoga Heights Schools received clean audit reports from State Auditor Keith Faber for Fiscal Year 2020 and Fiscal Year 2021. The information has been released and is available for viewing on the State Auditor’s website: https://ohioauditor.gov/auditsearch/results.aspx

“This is great news for our district,” remarked Muccio. “It means that our district continues to strive for the highest standards of financial management.”

”This is the result of great teamwork by all in the Treasurer's Office, including Payroll and HR Specialist Yalixa Rodriguez and Assistant Treasurer Kathy Martin, as well as those in the district who are responsible for managing district dollars – staff, administration, and the Board of Education,” added Muccio.

Typically these clean audit reports would qualify for the Auditor of State Award. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the audits’ releases were delayed by two and three years and are unable to qualify, according to Faber’s office. The district has received other Auditor of State Awards for its clean audits in the past.
