We officially have made it through the first couple of weeks of remote learning and everyone survived! Although the beginning of the remote learning curve had moments that were stressful for students, parents, teachers, and all other staff members, it has gone better than I ever could have imagined! When I think about the fact that we have completely changed how we are "doing school" and that the students have adapted so quickly, it is quite amazing. Not only are the students showing up for their classes, but they are happy to see their friends and teachers and they are learning the beginning-of-the-year lessons as well. It has been amazing for me to not only see the faces of your children on my computer screens, but also to witness the transformation of school to a digital platform. Even more amazing is the technological prowess that our students have demonstrated in a few short weeks. Even our youngest learners are splitting their screen, navigating back and forth between windows, logging into Zoom, submitting work via Google Classroom, etc.! It just goes to prove: CHES, "Together we can do VIRTUALLY anything!"
